INCA Sun Study

We are currently open for recruitment into our INCA Sun Research Study.

We are looking for people who are

  • Aged 18 and older
  • Unwell with their asthma despite using their inhalers.
  • Willing and able to travel to Beaumont Hospital Dublin.

Researchers in the Royal College of Surgeons and Trinity College Dublin developed a small device (called the INCA device) that can easily be attached to an inhaler.

This Device tells us how often you take you inhalers, and if you take them correctly. This allows us to give personalised feedback to people regarding their own inhaler use.

We believe if we can teach you how to take your inhaler and what time to take it at, you can have better control over your asthma.

Throughout the study we also collect blood samples and do breathing tests to help us learn more about the type of asthma you have.

If you are interested and would like to discuss the study further -
